REPORTS TO: Youth Services Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:The Youth Care Coordinator (CSEC) provides trauma-informed, person-centered services to minor victims of human trafficking and their families throughout Middle Tennessee. This role focuses on crisis stabilization, case management, and connecting youth and caregivers to critical community resources. The Youth Care Coordinator works collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners; including law enforcement, child welfare, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support coordinated response and long-term stability for youth impacted by trafficking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform all duties and demonstrate behaviors and attitudes consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of AncoraTN.
- Maintain positive and professional working relationships through effective communication, collaboration, mutual trust, and support of organizational leadership, while contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Provide traumainformed, personcentered case management services to youth impacted by human trafficking and their family systems.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop individualized service plans that support client safety, stability, and longterm wellbeing.
- Provide crisis intervention and victim advocacy, including responding onscene with law enforcement, healthcare providers, or other partners when appropriate.
- Support youth and caregivers in navigating complex systems, including child welfare, legal, medical, educational, and communitybased services.
- Connect clients to community resources and supportive services, including housing, healthcare, mental health services, education, and employment supports.
- Collaborate with the AncoraTN clinical team to ensure youth have access to traumainformed mental health services and appropriate therapeutic supports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with law enforcement, the Department of Children’s Services, and other state and local partners to coordinate care and support case response.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with agency policies, grant requirements, and professional standards.
- Provide education and guidance to youth, caregivers, and community partners related to human trafficking, available resources, and victimcentered support practices.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and organizational initiatives that strengthen service delivery and support positive outcomes for youth and families
- Provide training and educational presentations to community partners, professionals, and stakeholders on human trafficking awareness, traumainformed response, and available services, as needed.
- Support prevention initiatives and community engagement efforts, including outreach events, collaborative initiatives, and public awareness activities, as needed to advance AncoraTN’s mission.
- Any other tasks given by supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is carried out primarily in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing, walking, and some light physical activity. Most work is performed while sitting and using the computer, phone, and engaged in face-to-face conversation with staff and/or clients. Some car travel and use of personal vehicle is required. This position is an in office position. It is not eligible to work from home and must report to the office daily.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, criminal justice, public health, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications or specialized training in traumainformed care, victim advocacy, crisis intervention, or human trafficking response are highly valued.
- Minimum 23 years of professional experience providing direct services, case management, advocacy, or support to children, youth or vulnerable populations.
- Experience working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, abuse, or exploitation.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, child welfare agencies, healthcare providers, CAC staff, and communitybased organizations.
- Experience navigating complex systems such as child welfare, legal, healthcare, housing, and communitybased services.
- Experience in crisis intervention, victim advocacy, or emergency response preferred.
- Experience in grantfunded or nonprofit settings, including documentation and reporting requirements, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of traumainformed, survivorcentered, and strengthsbased approaches.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with youth and families.
- Strong organizational, time management, and case documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with youth, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional partnerships.
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills in complex, sensitive situations.
- Cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and case management systems.
- Ability to respond to crisis situations and provide onscene advocacy when needed.
- Knowledge of the dynamics of human trafficking, exploitation, and related risk factors.
- Ability and willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license, staterequired driver’s insurance and access to reliable personal transportation; ability to travel throughout Middle Tennessee.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:1.Initial and subsequent random drug screening is required as per agency policy.

JOB TYPE:Full-time, typically Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (willing to work some evening and weekend hours, as needed). Some travel may be required. This position is part of an on call rotation.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:Salary: $50,000-$53,000
Benefits:- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance. Eligible after 30 days of employment. (100% employer paid plan options)
- $150.00/ month for therapy reimbursement
- 120 hours PTO accrued 10 hours/month. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
- 96 hours of sick leave accrued 4 hours/pay period. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
- 13 paid holidays
- 4 floating holidays. Eligible after 30 days of employment, then annually.
