Job description

Introduction: Townhouse Partners is a boutique consulting firm providing commercial real estate finance and capital market services. Townhouse works with many of the world's top lending institutions, owner/operators and hedge funds. Townhouse Partners, headquartered in New York City, is looking for a financial analyst to join our team.

We guarantee a fast-paced and challenging environment where the successful candidate will learn the ins and outs of commercial real estate finance. You will become part of a group with the ultimate responsibility of managing multiple client relationships. The position will require some travel and long hours.

Main Responsibilities: Underwriting commercial real estate transactions and prepare market analysis reports. Perform complicated financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel. Review and analyze legal documents and third party reports as part of the due diligence process.

Review historical CMBS transactions and update market assumptions. Prepare and maintain financial models in Argus. Interact with clients and vendors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent quantitative, organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills. Strong computer skills with an advanced working knowledge of Excel, experience with VBA and Argus preferred. Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills.

Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills. Education and Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting preferred; however, all disciplines will be considered.
