Evara Health is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technology Instructor - Limited Scope X-Ray to join the Evara Health Institute and help prepare students for meaningful careers in healthcare.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
  • Teach limited-scope radiology/X-ray coursework in alignment with program standards, curriculum requirements, and student learning objectives.
  • Provide hands-on instruction, coaching, and feedback to help students build technical and clinical competency.
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and success.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, skills assessments, and classroom/lab activities.
  • Evaluate student progress through testing, observation, competency checkoffs, and practical skills review.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance, grades, and documentation in accordance with program requirements.
  • Support students through individualized guidance, remediation, and encouragement when needed.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and other instructors to ensure curriculum quality and consistency.
  • Promote a professional learning environment aligned with Evara Health's mission, values, and commitment to community impact.
  • Stay current on applicable radiology, healthcare, and instructional standards.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a genuine desire to help students succeed. Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:
  • Limited Scope X-Ray
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Radiography
  • X-Ray Technician/Technologist roles
  • Medical Assistant roles with X-ray experience
  • Urgent care, primary care, orthopedic, or outpatient imaging environments
  • Allied health education or clinical training
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in limited-scope radiology, radiologic technology, radiography, or a related clinical imaging field. Preferred qualifications may include:
  • Graduate from a program in a Radiology (X-Ray) Technician or closely related field required, with diploma.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience providing direct patient care as a medical assistant, basic x-ray machine operator/limited scope radiologist, radiology technician or similar radiology occupation
  • Teaching experience is helpful, but candidates with strong clinical experience and a desire to teach are encouraged to apply.
Schedule:
  • 16 to 20 hours per week
  • Course term is 5 weeks, and will start new sessions in continuous cycles
