Job description


The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and the Children's Heart Center at Mount Sinai seeks a full-time, BC/BE pediatric cardiologist to work as an inpatient cardiologist at Mount Sinai.
Responsibilities
The candidate should have an interest in general cardiology with a particular emphasis on inpatient consultation as well as cardiac critical care consultation. The candidate would join 16 other Children's Heart Center pediatric cardiology faculty members as well as six categorical pediatric cardiology fellows, one advanced imaging fellow, one adult congenital heart fellow, two pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, a dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU and a dedicated cardiac anesthesiology service.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited program
  • New York State Medical License or eligibility
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Has an interest in helping build a robust program near NYC
  • Meet eligibility requirements for appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Compensation range from 270K to 350K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
