UCCA is seeking passionate early childhood educators to lead NC Pre-K classrooms serving preschool-aged children. The Teacher creates engaging learning environments that support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development while promoting school readiness and family engagement.
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Assess and monitor children’s developmental progress
  • Maintain classroom records and documentation
  • Partner with families to support student success
  • Ensure compliance with NC Pre-K and licensing standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
  • NC Pre-K qualifications and licensure requirements required
  • Experience working in preschool or Pre-K settings preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to actively supervise preschool-aged children, move throughout classroom and outdoor learning environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
