Job description

Responsibilities
The gut microbiome laboratory of Jeremiah Faith in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking an immunology postdoctoral fellow to lead new discoveries in mucosal immunology and IBD. Our laboratory's research is focused on the influence of gut microbes on the immune system, especially in the context of inflammatory diseases such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We are a diverse group of approximately 15 individuals with expertise in microbiology, systems engineering, bioinformatics, systems biology, and immunology.. We combine these diverse skills sets towards cutting-edge research, and seek another creative, motivated individual to join our group.
Responsibilities of this position will include immune assays on human and mouse samples to explore the impact of gut microbes on mucosal immune function and disease. R programming skills preferred. Mouse model and immunology experience required.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
