Engineering - Design Engineer | Grand Prairie, Texas, United States [About the Role] Join our innovative engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX as a Design Engineer, where you'll drive the creation and improvement of advanced mechanical products and systems. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge design tools and collaborate with industry-leading professionals, supporting both product innovation and efficient manufacturing. [Responsibilities] - Design major components and advanced prototypes to meet project and client requirements - Develop layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals and communicate design intent clearly - Investigate manufacturing feasibility, material selection, and cost-effectiveness within contractual specifications - Coordinate design activities with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution - Create and review detailed assemblies, parts layouts, and finished 3D models using Creo - Check completed drawings for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with engineering standards - Identify and recommend corrections for design errors, omissions, or inefficiencies - Prepare content for design reviews and contribute to concept development initiatives [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 3 years' experience in Creo design - At least 2 years' expertise with Windchill PLM/PDM systems - Proven background in mechanical primary and secondary structures - 1+ years' experience in concept development and design review content preparation - 4+ years' experience creating finished 3D models - 2+ years' proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) - 2+ years' experience with complex mechanical/electrical concepts [Preferred Skills] - Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) [Benefits] - Competitive compensation package - Career advancement opportunities within a dynamic engineering environment - Collaborative culture that supports ongoing learning and technical growth - Exposure to cutting-edge tools and product development processes [How to Apply] Ready to take your engineering career to the next level?
