Job Summary
The Data Entry Specialist supports a short-term project by extracting, organizing, and managing digital files from a designated website. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to follow structured filing and documentation standards. The Data Entry Specialist ensures accuracy, completeness, and proper categorization of files to support project goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Download files and documents from a designated website or online portal.

  • Review job descriptions and website data to correctly classify and organize files.

  • Rename and file documents according to established naming conventions.

  • Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets to log downloaded and processed files.

  • Verify document accuracy, completeness, and proper placement within electronic folders.

  • Organize electronic folders and subfolders for easy retrieval.

  • Identify discrepancies, missing files, or unclear information and escalate issues to supervisors.

  • Perform general administrative and data-processing tasks to support the project.

  • Follow standardized processes and maintain consistency across a high volume of digital files.


Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
