Job description

Manager, Content Partnership Marketing

About Our Team

Elsevier's Academic & Government (A&G) group helps our communities establish, discover, and share knowledge in an effort to advance human progress. We do this by turning scientific discoveries into peer-reviewed knowledge, hosting the world's richest corpus of research content, enabling users to unlock insights from information, and measuring the quality and impact of research.

Within the A&G Marketing organization, the Researcher & Library (R&L) Audience team is responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and engagement across Elsevier's researcher solutions portfolio. As LeapSpace continues to scale globally, strategic content partnerships are increasingly central to the product experience, institutional value proposition, and long-term growth strategy.

The Content Partnerships Marketing team plays a critical role at the intersection of Product, Partner Development, Sales, Communications, and Field Marketing. This function ensures that content partner relationships are translated into compelling customer value, scalable marketing programs, and consistent commercial messaging across the organization.

Joining the team means operating in a fast-moving AI and research technology environment where collaboration, strategic thinking, and operational rigor are essential.

About the Role

As Manager, Content Partnerships Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that support LeapSpace's content partner ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Global Communications, Legal, Sales, and Marketing teams to operationalize partner-related messaging, support partner awareness and co-marketing initiatives, and enable customer-facing teams to confidently communicate the value of content partnerships.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, messaging discipline, and the ability to navigate complex partner relationships in a highly matrixed global organization. You will serve as a central coordination point between Product and commercial teams, ensuring partner-related marketing activities are strategically aligned, contractually compliant, and commercially effective.

This role reports into the LeapSpace Solution Marketing organization within the R&L Audience Marketing team. The responsibilities align closely with Elsevier's broader post-launch GTM and sales enablement priorities for LeapSpace.

Responsibilities

Value Proposition & Messaging

  • Partner with Product, Global Communications, and Legal teams to maintain partner-related messaging frameworks and ensure consistent market positioning.
  • Translate Product-defined value propositions into messaging kits and customer-facing narratives for Marketing, Sales, ACE, and Field teams.
  • Ensure messaging stays current as partnerships, product capabilities, and market dynamics evolve.

Partner Enablement & Relationship Management

  • Coordinate partner marketing approvals, including branding, logos, and IP-related usage across LeapSpace marketing assets and experiences.
  • Develop scalable co-marketing approaches and maintain relationships with partner marketing and communications stakeholders.
  • Stay aligned on contractual obligations and partner sensitivities through ongoing collaboration with Product and partner management teams.

Promotion & Market Awareness

  • Support partner business development and product awareness through websites, showcase pages, collateral, webinars, events, and coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Global Communications on press releases, social media, and partner announcements.
  • Coordinate with ACE and Field Marketing teams to execute integrated promotional activities.

Sales Enablement

  • Maintain consistent sales messaging related to partnerships, content coverage, and strategic positioning.
  • Develop and update sales-facing assets including pitch deck content, briefs, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Serve as the primary contact for partner-related sales questions and enablement support.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, partner marketing, product marketing, or related roles within SaaS, information services, publishing, or research technology.
  • Deliver strong messaging, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Communications, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience supporting partner or ecosystem marketing initiatives and sales enablement programs.
  • Have exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed organization.
  • Able to translate complex partnership structures into clear, customer-centric messaging.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, post-launch, or transformational environments
  • Familiarity with academic research workflows, scholarly publishing, or research information services. (Valued not required).
  • Experience supporting AI-enabled products or technology platforms.
  • Experience working with strategic partnerships, licensing relationships, or content ecosystems. (Highly valued).
  • Experience coordinating global marketing programs across regions and audiences.
  • Have bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree is valued.
