Job description

Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring product quality specifications and processes are in compliance with regulatory, company and customer standards and requirements.
Position Details
  • Monitors quality standards for installation of materials and products for Mechanical HVAC systems to ensure they are integrated in projects and the fabrication processes. Reviews shop fabrications for drawing conformance, verifies installation of products and materials and confirms that procedures are being followed and are code compliant.
  • Performs job walks and inspections at construction sites and/or fabrication facilities to ensure compliance with government regulations, OSHA and company safety requirements and contractual specifications. Consults with crews for proper testing procedures, verifies testing and inspection reports.
  • Documents and communicates inspection results. Identifies and recommends solutions for non-compliant situations. Follows through to ensure compliance and conformance.
  • Maintains various procedural documents, including continuity logs and code books. Reviews procedures for compliance. Clarify procedural issues and conducts training as needed.
  • Partners with superintendents to maintain resource licenses, including expiration and renewal date.
  • Reviews project equipment specifications and documents. Secures specialty permits. Inform management of potential problems.
  • Reviews project requirements for Quality Assurance/Quality Control and help project teams identify roles, responsibilities and expectations before the project begins.

Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of progressive quality control experience or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, processes, and methods)
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations as well as safety policies and procedures
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Organizational and planning skills

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Washington, this ranges from $71,000.00-$100,000.00 yearly plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
Contingent Employment: All employment offers are contingent upon successful drug tests, background checks, and professional reference checks. Roles that include driving as an essential job duty will be required to have a successful Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR). We are not able to offer sponsorship of employment at this time.
