BGE, Inc is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm offering diverse career opportunities in a wide range of disciplines for public and private infrastructure projects. Our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes outstanding health care, generous 401(k) match, professional career resources, and highly competitive work-life balance programs, including personal-time allowances, dependent care, and flexible Fridays.

Overview
BGE is seeking an experienced Digital Delivery Manager to lead our Bentley technology platform across the firm. Sitting within the Enterprise Technology team's Digital Delivery group, this role is the primary owner of BGE's Bentley ecosystem - spanning OpenRoads Designer (ORD), ProjectWise, and the growing iTwin/iModel platform. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between hands-on technical expertise and organizational leadership, translating Bentley capabilities into measurable delivery value for BGE's engineering practice groups.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Strategy & Governance
  • Own and advance BGE's firmwide Bentley technology roadmap, including OpenRoads Designer, ProjectWise / CDE, and the iTwin/iModel platform
  • Define and maintain standardized ORD design workflows and modeling practices aligned with state DOT and client delivery standards
  • Oversee enterprise ProjectWise strategy in coordination with IT, including environment architecture, access management, and integration with engineering workflows
  • Manage BGE's enterprise Bentley agreements and licensing, serving as the primary Bentley account and relationship contact

Digital Delivery Leadership
  • Serve as the internal subject matter authority and thought leader for Bentley technologies across all BGE practice groups
  • Partner with practice group leaders, project managers, and designers to align Bentley workflows with project delivery requirements
  • Champion adoption of automation, intelligent design workflows, and data-driven delivery approaches (iTwin APIs, Bentley Reporting, ECSQL-based extraction) where they create client value
  • Support BGE's innovation initiatives by identifying emerging Bentley capabilities and evaluating their applicability to firm workflows

Training & Capability Building
  • Develop and maintain structured training programs and learning paths that scale ORD and ProjectWise capability across the firm
  • Mentor and guide practice-embedded Bentley SMEs, building a distributed support model across BGE's offices
  • Coordinate onboarding of new designers and engineers onto BGE's Bentley standards and workflows

Organizational Change & Collaboration
  • Partner with the Digital Delivery group on change management initiatives affecting Bentley platforms, applying structured frameworks to drive adoption
  • Collaborate with the Autodesk-focused side of the Digital Delivery group to ensure cohesive firm-wide digital delivery standards
  • Contribute to BGE's broader Enterprise Technology strategy, including IT infrastructure touchpoints such as Bentley IMS, licensing servers, and integration with enterprise systems

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Survey, or a related technical discipline
  • Significant hands-on experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer in a production civil/transportation engineering environment
  • Demonstrated experience with ProjectWise administration or strategy, including workflow design and CDE governance
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple offices or practice groups
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience developing or delivering training programs for engineering software

Preferred
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Familiarity with Bentley iTwin platform, iModels, or the Bentley API ecosystem (Grouping & Mapping, Reporting API, ECSQL)
  • Experience with automation or custom tooling in a Bentley environment (MicroStation CONNECT SDK, OpenRoads SDK, or equivalent)
  • Exposure to DOT project delivery environments and standards
  • Background in organizational change management, technology adoption strategy, or digital transformation programs
  • Experience managing enterprise software contracts or vendor relationships

Some of our Benefits:
  • 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting
  • Merit-Based Bonus Compensation
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans
