BH Electronics, a division of Patrick Industries, is hiring a Process Engineer for their new location in Summerville, SC. As a Process Engineer at BH Electronics, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes related to wire harness production. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize wire harness manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure that processes meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and defects.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow charts.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
  • Participate in product development and design reviews to provide input on manufacturability and process capabilities.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in wire harness or related manufacturing environments.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
