Gilliatte General Contractors is seeking Qualified Candidate to join our team as a full time Warehouse Coordinator. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of warehouse leadership experience, preferably in the construction industry.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between Gilliatte job sites.
  • Maintains and manages warehouse vehicles and warehouse equipment including, trucks, generators, gas powered tools, etc. for ready to use status. Physically transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores the inventory according to policy.
  • Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
  • Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
  • Ensure that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse and manages the daily flow of products.
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Monitors expenses of warehouse.
  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Resolves routine equipment issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.




Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The Ability to adjust to constantly changing demands and the ability to anticipate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Ability to determine priorities and adjust to new, updated timelines.
  • You must be knowledgeable about smart phone functions including maps, contacts, internet search information, etc.
  • Your great organizational skills and attention to detail will be a huge plus in this position.
  • You must have the ability to do data entry and manage inventory software and systems.
  • You must be able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.
  • You must be able to pass a Moving Vehicle Report and a Background Check.
