Alternate Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO)/Security Rep Asc

The Lockheed Martin, Enterprise Operations security team is seeking an alternate Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO)/Security Rep Asc to work in a dynamic, high-tempo environment supporting multiple programs across the corporation. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and administer the security requirements for both Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) initiatives, managing all compliance policies and procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. The selected candidate will be committed to helping safeguard our workplace and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests. An understanding of industrial security regulations and federal security requirements, including 32 CFR Part 117, DoD 5205.07 SAP Security Manual, ICD 705 physical-security standards, and related guidance is essential. Responsibilities include escorting, monitoring, and enforcing security compliance requirements for Special Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), Controlled Area Programs (CAP), and Special Access Programs (SAP) overseeing personnel security, access control, media control, reviewing and updating fixed-facility checklists, and coordinating related activities. Candidates will develop and deliver security education and training programs for CAP/SAP personnel, collaborating with other CSSOs to investigate security violations.

Core duties will include:

  • Administering the CAP/SAP Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing CAP/SAP Nomination packages
  • Support annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary
  • Assist with classified document control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition
  • Assist with investigating security violations and submitting required reports to the government
  • Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork
  • Maintaining all end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs and pass down logs
  • Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required
  • Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests
  • Assist with self-inspections; preparations and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel

Basic Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-program environment
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills
  • Be highly organized and have advanced verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in a SAP/SCI environment
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 SAP Security Manual, DoD 5105.21 SCI Security Manual, ICD 705 physical-security standards
  • Knowledge of LM Security tools (SIMS, Security Central, DART, SMART, Travel Reporting Tool, etc.)
  • Experience with Government systems of record (DISS, JADE, etc)
  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of leading or participating in collaborative teams
  • History of achieving compliant inspection results

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
