About this RoleThe Facilities & Security Coordinator is responsible for supporting the safe, secure, and efficient operation of Quanta Power Solutions' facilities. This role oversees facility maintenance activities, physical security systems, contractor coordination, access control, emergency preparedness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for facility-related issues and helps ensure a safe, productive environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.What You'll DoFacilities Management
  • Coordinate day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities across office, warehouse, and field support locations.
  • Manage work orders and service requests related to building systems, utilities, repairs, and workplace improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and operational improvements.
  • Monitor facility-related budgets, invoices, and service contracts.
  • Support office space planning, furniture management, and workplace organization initiatives.
  • Maintain records of inspections, maintenance schedules, warranties, and service agreements.
Security Administration
  • Administer badge access systems, key control programs, and visitor management processes.
  • Maintain employee and contractor access permissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate physical security measures including CCTV systems, alarms, locks, gates, and security monitoring services.
  • Investigate and document security incidents, suspicious activities, and access control issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of site security procedures and protocols.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives as they relate to physical security and facility access.
Safety & Compliance
  • Assist with emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, and business continuity efforts.
  • Coordinate regular safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Support compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain emergency equipment, first aid supplies, and facility safety documentation.
  • Participate in incident investigations and track corrective action plans.
Administrative Support

  • Prepare reports on facility performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities related to facility access and security credentials.

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Safety Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities coordination, security administration, property management, or a related role.
  • Experience managing vendors, maintenance activities, or security systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
