Are you an estimator who looks beyond the numbers to craft winning strategies? We are looking for an Estimator with the depth of a senior-level professional who possesses experience in subcontractor bidding and general contractor estimating. Each day, you'll work alongside a team of experts to produce accurate bids, build relationships with subcontractors, and lead estimation for high-profile renovation and construction projects in the hospitality and commercial sectors.

This isnt just about crunching numbers. Its about owning the process. This role requires you to be a confident communicator who can establish strong relationships with subcontractors, negotiate effectively, and manage complex data with precision and accuracy. Success in this position will require a sharp eye for detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and scopes to produce accurate, detailed estimates for hospitality and commercial construction projects.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive bid packages, including invitations to bid, subcontractor lists, scope clarifications, levelling sheets, and project management templates.
  • Lead estimation efforts on complex renovations, including full hotel and room remodels, while contributing to strategic bid planning and proposal development.
  • Manage the bid calendar and process from end to end, ensuring timely collaboration with Program and Preconstruction Managers, and supporting final submissions.
  • Facilitate bid strategy meetings, guide workflow improvements, and drive internal coordination to enhance preconstruction performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers; solicit and review bids, clarify scopes, negotiate pricing, and attend job walks and proposal meetings to ensure effective project management.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all estimates and internal documentation, including Bid Logs and CRM records, while supporting technical proposals and alternative delivery methods

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience estimating in residential or commercial construction.
  • Proven expertise in subcontractor scope review, bid coverage, and proposal analysis.
  • Solid working knowledge of Procore and scheduling tools like Microsoft Project.
  • A portfolio of successful hotel, room, or large-scale renovation estimates.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
