TERRITORY SALES MANAGER
Prairies & Northern Canada
Based in Calgary, AB
$90,000–$100,000 Base + Monthly Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
OTE: $140,000–$150,000+
Step into a successful, established territory with an existing customer base with an opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow into a larger leadership role as part of the company’s long-term succession planning.
Our client is a leading manufacturer within the building materials and building envelope industry, supplying specialized products for commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction projects.
This is a highly autonomous, relationship-driven technical sales role where you'll inherit an established territory while continuing to develop new project opportunities. Working from the company's Calgary manufacturing facility, you'll collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams while supporting customers throughout the Prairies and Northern Canada.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with General Contractors, builders, and installers while helping move projects from specification through installation.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Manage and grow an established customer base.
  • Build relationships with General Contractors, builders, and installers.
  • Identify new commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and perform material takeoffs.
  • Provide technical product recommendations and application support.
  • Help influence product specifications early in the design process.
  • Support customers from quotation through project completion.
  • Collaborate with leadership, estimating, operations, customer service, and technical teams.
  • Manage your territory independently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of Technical Sales or Outside Sales experience.
  • Experience selling building materials, construction products, building envelope products, insulation, roofing, cladding, waterproofing, or related products, highly preferred
  • Experience calling on General Contractors, builders, or installers.
  • Experience with architects, engineers, specifiers, an added bonus.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and complete material takeoffs.
  • Strong relationship-building and territory management skills.
  • Experience working in project-based construction environments.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
