To thrive as a Contractor Developer, you need strong programming skills, a thorough understanding of software development methodologies, and often relevant experience or a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with project management tools, source control systems like Git, and knowledge of popular frameworks or cloud platforms is key, as are certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Scrum Master when required. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities set standout contractor developers apart.
