What is a contractor bookkeeper?

Contractor bookkeepers are professionals who manage the financial records for contractors and construction businesses. They handle tasks such as invoicing, payroll, expense tracking, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Their work helps contractors stay compliant with tax regulations and make informed business decisions. Contractor bookkeepers are often familiar with industry-specific accounting software and the unique financial needs of construction projects.
