Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Service Account Manager to join our team in our electrical service division. The qualified candidate will build new relationships and maintain existing ones, estimate and bid Service electrical construction projects.
Major Duties:
  • Responsible for sales growth through identifying, and contacting potential clients in market segments.
  • Identify and coordinate new potential strategic customers with Business Development/Marketing Group.
  • Manage key accounts portfolio.
  • Ability to achieve assigned strategic and financial account objectives, by establishing strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific needs.
  • Responsible for suggestions on solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs. Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Receive incoming calls and requests, responding to internal and external clients in a timely manner.
  • Identify project bid dates and provides bids, schedules manpower, and monitors progress of jobs.
  • Clearly define scope of projects with Foreman and provide contact name, address, phone number, scope of work and billing info and communicate it to them prior to arrival to client's address.
  • Coordinate and communicate hours, manpower and materials in turnover meetings to foreman on larger jobs.
  • Coordinate with Service Department Manager, Service Estimator and Finance on projects, reporting, and process of department.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Be a self-starter and be dependable.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Major Qualifications:
  • Journeyman or experienced Apprentice.
  • Understanding of Service Department processes and operations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in customer relations.
  • 5 or more years as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • Construct jobs proficiency.
  • Bluebeam proficiency, experience with Accubid, & MS Office products.
