We hire across two primary business areas:

  • New Construction (commercial residential, & special projects new construction projects)
  • Service & Remodel
What You'll Learn / Do (Typical PreApprentice Experience)
  • Support field crews with material handling, site organization, and jobsite housekeeping
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely under guidance
  • Assist with install prep (e.g., cutting openings, staging equipment, loading/unloading)
  • Practice safety and quality basics, helping maintain clean, compliant work areas
  • Work as part of a team and develop trade awareness across New Construction or Service & Remodel environments
    (Actual tasks vary by trade and project.)
  • Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Schedule: 4 x 10 hour work days
  • Lift above 50lbs regularly
  • Walking, Lifting, Twisting, Climbing Ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day
