A growing commercial general contractor in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial projects such as TI, retail, banking, distribution, hospitality, hotels, QSR, senior living, or gas stations. Client Details A nationally recognized commercial general contractor known for delivering high-quality projects with integrity, responsiveness, and exceptional client service. With decades of experience and expertise across retail, restaurant, hospitality, financial, convenience store, and specialty commercial markets, they have built a reputation for repeat business and lasting partnerships. The company fosters a collaborative, team-oriented culture where employees are empowered to make an impact, grow their careers, and contribute to challenging projects for some of the nation's most recognized brands. Description Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals. Oversee procurement and material deliveries. Manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Mentor project engineers and support field teams as needed. Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Commercial construction project management experience in TI, Retail, Banking / Financial Institutions, Distribution & Warehouse Facilities, Hospitality, Hotels, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Convenience Stores / Gas Stations Experience with one or more of the preferred project sectors listed above. Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and scheduling. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
