Senior Estimator – Drive Growth in National Industrial Contracting Projects


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will take point on assembling precise, competitive bids for high-profile national brands across diverse industrial scopes. Joining a fast-growing team that operates as one cohesive unit, you will shape win strategies and expand core business capabilities. This role puts you at the center of customer relationship management, project strategy, and financial success.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Perform detailed takeoffs and cost calculations for labor, materials, and equipment across complex industrial projects.
  • Lead client bid reviews and deliver compelling proposals that communicate differentiation and project value.
  • Partner with project managers and purchasing teams to uncover cost-saving opportunities and manage project risk.
  • Identify prospective leads and target new markets to build long-term maintenance contracts and client relationships.
  • Conduct post-project history reviews to optimize historical cost data and refine future bidding accuracy.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience accurately estimating industrial contracting projects (piping, millwright, fabrication, or sheetmetal).
  • Strong technical background reading blueprints, schematics, and client project specifications.
  • Deep understanding of commercial terms, bid schedules, subcontract negotiation, and cost risk analysis.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills required for presenting proposals directly to management and clients.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of hands-on estimating experience within the industrial sector.
  • Proficiency with industry software including HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, Pro Core, Fast Pipe, Fast Duct, or PlanSwift.
