Contract Windows Deployment Jobs in Seattle, WA (NOW HIRING)

This is an on-site, long-term contract in Bellevue. Looking for experienced Desktop Techs with AV experience.

This technician should have hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments, including device management through MDM tools such as Intune or Jamf. They should also be comfortable providing VIP/executive support, troubleshooting AV and conference room technology, and resolving enterprise networking issues involving Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, and general connectivity.

Description

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed.

• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels.

• Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to hardware including the installation of CPUs, I/O and NIC cards, hard disks, ribbon cables, hard drives, RAM, memory chips, CD-ROMs, and so on.

• Collaborate with network technicians/network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the Company’s desktop computing environment. • Where required, administer and resolve issues with associated end-user technology, networking or software products.

• Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding desktop problems.

• Answer to and perform moves, adds, and change (MAC) requests as they are submitted by the service desk tool.

• Ensure that physical desktop connections, as well as wireless connectors between PCs and servers, etc., are in proper working order.

• Prepare tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance, provide performance statistics and reports.

• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.

• Develop and maintain an inventory of all defined assets.

• Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.

• If necessary, liaise with third-party support and IT hardware vendors.

• Conduct research on desktop products in support of IT procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.

• Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.

Technical Requirements:

• Active Directory Administration

• M365 troubleshooting

• Windows OS troubleshooting and support

• Prior experience with IT projects (refreshes, deployment efforts, office moves etc)

• Printer setup/troubleshooting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is working 5 days a week on site in Bellevue, WA. Will be supporting teams of developers/engineers.

Tech skills:

1. Setup, maintenance, and real-time support of boardroom AV, video conferencing and presentation systems used by executives.

2. Strong hands-on with Networking

3. Strong hands-on skills across macOS and Windows 11, including MDM tools such as Jamf, Intune

4. Should own full ownership of laptops and other IT equipment in the office

Soft Skills:

1. Experience supporting C-level executives, C-suite personnel with high service expectation.

2. Ability to work closely with leadership and handle sensitive information with absolute professionalism and confidentiality.

3. Able to prioritize independently, manage a ticket queue, and proactively flag or fix issues before they reach executives.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
