Job description

This is a 30 month opportunity on the Hourly-Based IT Services (HBITS) Contract at the State of New York. (Possibility of extension).

Required Experience:

  • 48 Months of Experience in drafting and developing technical writing efforts across software documentation, business processes, and IT operations
  • 48 Months of Experience in breaking down complex information and organizing it logically for the user, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • 48 Months of Experience in research and information gathering, including document analysis and interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • 60 Months of Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio) to support documentation development and delivery
  • 36 Months of Experience in document management: organizing information; creating diagrams, charts, and other visual aids; and using documentation systems
  • 36 Months of Experience working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, operations and customer support, to ensure documentation aligns across system and business functions and meets user needs
  • 36 Months of Experience in reviewing and testing documentation, including the incorporation of feedback to update and improve content and testing for usability and accuracy
  • 36 Months of Experience utilizing industry standard technical summary and reporting techniques
  • Bachelor’s Degree
