As our Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for supporting brand and merchandising standards with the goal of improving store productivity, customer service, and sales from a visual merchandising perspective. You will work closely with the Visual Merchandise Manager to engage with and influence brands on the overall visual presentation.


What you will be doing

  • Assisting the Visual Merchandise Manager with all promotions, special events, and window display programs.
  • Establishing and managing a calendar for merchandising and window dressing.
  • Supporting visual merchandising guidelines for the brands.
  • Participating in the induction of new brands to introduce merchandising and window guidelines aligned with our standards.
  • Supporting the brands with their windows and in-store displays, working with the Retail team and boutiques to ensure store layouts and zoning requirements are met.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of commercial communication tools and manuals to raise standards for window displays and signage.
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Retail teams on all signage issues to ensure alignment with the Merchandising and Marketing calendars.
  • Working closely with the Retail team to coordinate the distribution of relevant materials to stores.
  • Assisting the Retail and Marketing teams with all promotions, special events, and window display programs.
  • Coordinating cross-functional project workstreams and managing the Visual Merchandising team calendar to ensure a consistent and efficient workflow.
  • Participating in weekly alignment calls with the Retail and Hospitality teams to discuss Village activities and priorities.
  • Placing orders for display props and materials; organizing and maintaining related inventory trackers and physical storage.
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects, as needed.

  • A degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in visual merchandising across multiple brands, luxury retail environments, or department stores.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Highly creative with the ability to work effectively across a diverse range of product categories and brand aesthetics.
  • Passion for fashion, retail, and visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of current industry trends and consumer behavior.
  • Experience installing and dismantling visual merchandising displays, props, and window presentations.
  • Physical and mental capability to install and de-install props and window presentations, including the ability to:
  • walk and stand for extended periods of time;
  • safely use basic power tools;
  • safely climb ladders;
  • lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds;
  • move furniture and equipment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, brands, and customers at all levels while maintaining a collaborative and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate challenges and identify practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, meet multiple deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understanding of retail sales principles, product presentation, and techniques that drive customer engagement and commercial performance.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, off-hours and federal holidays, as needed.
  • Fluency in English; any other language would be beneficial.
