What You Will Be Doing
The ideal candidate possesses strong programming skills in MATLAB, is comfortable with Python based analysis and C++ code interpretation, and can navigate complex, multi functional and multi company collaborations while juggling support for several concurrent contracts.
Your Day to Day Activities (Typical)
• Run scripts and analyze data from various different sources; validate results against expected sensor performance envelopes.
• Develop/modify MATLAB-based tools for data preprocessing, file conversion, and automated report generation.
• Stand ups with cross functional team to review analysis results, test schedules, data availability, and open issues.
• Interact with supplier, partner, and customer entities; balance competing priorities
• Inspect supplier model documentation (i.e., antenna patterns, RF front end specifications); log discrepancies and request clarifications.
• Dive into C++ OFP source when a sensor anomaly surfaces; use debugging tools and log files to pinpoint low level causes.
• Update GitLab repositories, create merge requests, and document changes in the project wiki.
• Prepare daily or weekly status briefs for program leadership and partner contractors, highlighting analysis findings and risk items.
• Participate in design reviews for upcoming sensor upgrades, providing data driven recommendations.
• Close out events by delivering final analysis packages, validation reports, and lessons learned documentation.
**Will require up to 30% travel to test site location

Basic Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience: 3+ years minimum.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive problem solver with a detail oriented and growth mindset.
• Experience communicating and conveying technical information to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work across multiple functions and corporate boundaries, and manage competing priorities.
Matlab experience
• RF Knowledge: Understanding of antenna theory, RF front end architectures, signal and digital processing, and sensing modalities; willingness to deepen expertise.
Willing to travel (domestically) up to 30%
-Experience with Compact Ranges (Anechoic or RF chambers) & RF Testing
-Active Secret or higher clearance

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $142,000 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
