In this role you will plan and execute strategy for key commodities, promote supplier collaboration and cross functional engagement of suppliers and key YAI stakeholders, including Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management and Quality. You will represent Strategic Sourcing in key cross-functional efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Administration. With a MBA or Masters of Engineering degree being a huge plus! To be successful you should have 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including demonstrated experience in negotiations, supplier contracts, cost reduction initiatives, and supporting manufacturing operations. Extensive experience in sourcing sheet metal fabrications and precision machining along with some experience in sourcing plastic components. Experience in directly sourcing raw materials is preferred. Expertise in effective application of strategic sourcing methodologies and tools, including TCO, VAVE, LCC Sourcing and Make-vs-Buy processes is a must. Must be highly analytical, demonstrate strong leadership skills and creative problem solving abilities.
