Job description

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
We are seeking a hybrid Senior UX Designer to bridge the gap between user experience design and front-end engineering for our enterprise e-commerce platform. This role combines UX thinking with hands-on React development to create scalable, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences across browse, search, cart, and checkout flows used by millions of customers.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable designing intuitive customer journeys and building them in production-quality code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-ready web experiences while helping shape front-end standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for enterprise digital products and e-commerce experiences.
  • Partner with UX, product, and engineering teams to transform wireframes, prototypes, and business requirements into production-ready applications.
  • Design reusable UI patterns, and modern web experiences using related technologies.
  • Maintain and evolve a reusable enterprise component library and shared design system supporting consistency and scalability across multiple engineering teams and products.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, reduce friction, and enhance engagement through UX improvements, usability reviews, and experimentation.
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot and Codex, to improve development efficiency and accelerate delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in UX, accessibility, front-end architecture, and modern web technologies.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, UX engineering, UI engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern front-end development practices.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, and component-driven development using frameworks such as shadcn/ui, Radix UI, Ant Design, or similar libraries.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design best practices.
  • Experience building scalable, responsive, and accessible enterprise or e-commerce web applications.
  • Experience building reusable component libraries, scalable design systems.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and experience leveraging usability testing, customer research, and behavioral analysis tools such as UserTesting.com to validate and improve digital experiences.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in enterprise retail, e-commerce, or other high-traffic digital environments
  • Familiarity with analytics and optimization tools such as Quantum Metric, Google Analytics, Optimizely, or A/B testing platforms.
  • Experience with CMS and personalization platforms such as Salesforce, Strapi, Monetate, or similar technologies.
