Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our Oncology Drug Discovery team in a hands-on, laboratory-based role. This individual will play a key role in advancing early-stage discovery programs, from target validation through lead optimization and translational research, with a focus on developing novel therapeutics for cancer treatment.
This is a wet-lab bench position, where the successful candidate will design and execute experiments directly and independently, generate high-quality data, and contribute to scientific strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep experimental expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a strong track record of translating biological insights into therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Independently design and execute hands-on wet-lab experiments, including cell-based and molecular assays, to support oncology drug discovery programs.
• Drive novel target identification and validation, including mechanistic studies, to support strategic decision-making across discovery programs.
• Lead and perform in vitro and in vivo studies, independently generating and analyzing experimental data.
• Design, develop, and optimize robust cell-based or biochemical assays to support target validation and drug discovery efforts.
• Compile, analyze, and clearly present experimental and scientific data to the biology team to support scientific discussions and decision-making.
• Interpret complex datasets and provide scientific insights to the biology team.
• Perform independent literature review to guide experimental design and apply findings to support hands-on research and program progression.
• Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies and experimental approaches.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and ensure high-quality, reproducible data generation.
• Collaborate closely within the biology team and interface with chemistry, translational, bioinformatics, and other interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology or related field.• 2-5 years of relevant post-doctoral experience and/or 0-3 years pharmaceutical industry experience.• Strong background in oncology biology.• Significant hands-on experience with a broad range of cell-based assays and molecular techniques.• Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with small molecules, targeted protein degradation, or biologics research and/or drug discovery.
