Job Title
Director, Contract Management (Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN)
Job Description
The Director of Contract Management develops and implements strategic plans and objectives for sales operations to drive organizational growth, optimize processes, enhance team performance, and align sales activities with overall business goals and market opportunities.
Your Role:
  • Lead sales operations strategy and execution by developing and implementing strategic plans, optimizing processes, leveraging data-driven insights, and aligning sales activities with organizational growth objectives and market opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by overseeing deployment initiatives, identifying capability gaps, facilitating training, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent performance improvements across sites and teams.
  • Oversee contract management and governance by leading contract drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance, risk mitigation, and providing strategic contracting guidance to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Enhance organizational effectiveness through policy, process, and technology optimization by recommending and implementing improvements across sales operations, sales support, analytics, tendering, quoting, and sales technology platforms.
  • Provide leadership and talent development through succession planning, performance management, employee development, compensation oversight, stakeholder engagement, and final decision-making on key operational and administrative matters.

You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired at least 8 years of professional experience in contracts management, strategic planning and implementation.
  • You have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in a related field. Masters of Business Administration or Juris Doctor highly preferred.
  • Direct leadership experience with large, multifunctional teams and on KPI management and reporting.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively performed at customer or supplier locations.
This is an office role based in Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in MA or TN is $145,000 to $290,000 annually.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in a comprehensive Total Rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN.
