The Senior Business Systems Analyst will evaluate business processes and systems to identify and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather complex requirements, analyze business needs, document system specifications, and ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will also facilitate communication between business users and IT teams and provide guidance to junior and mid-level analysts.
What you will do:
  • Take a lead role collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and provide technical guidance.
  • Analyze and translate business needs into clear and concise user stories that align with project goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review story requirements and validate system functionality.
  • Contribute to implementations, troubleshoot issues, conduct impact analysis, and recommend solutions.
  • Review system enhancements with project stakeholders.
  • Create flow diagrams and document technical solutions.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to modern technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.

What you will bring:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent technology industry background.
  • Proficiency in identifying and solving business problems through innovative and practical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to all levels.
  • Experience collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of highly complex, multi-platform applications and systems.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills to create comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in managing tasks, timelines, and resources effectively to support successful project delivery.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, requirements, or technological advancements.

What will set you apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Financial industry experience.
  • Prior production support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience as a QA or Developer.
  • Expertise in other roles on an Agile Development Team, such as Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, Product Owner, or Scrum Master.

Base Salary Range
$87,400.00 - $123,400.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
