goeasy is seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist, Licensing and Contracts to support key legal operations across the organization. The Senior Specialist, Licensing and Contracts supports the day-to-day coordination and administration of the organization's commercial contracting, regulatory administration, corporate governance, insurance administration, and legal operations activities.

The role supports the execution and coordination of the contract lifecycle management process and related legal operations programs, contributing to efficient execution, compliance, and stakeholder support across the enterprise. The Senior Specialist serves as a key point of contact and operational support resource for contract intake, contract administration, registrations, licensing, governance administration, insurance coordination, litigation administration, and legal operations reporting.

What will you be doing?

  • Commercial Contract Management:
    • Coordinate contract intake, workflow routing, approvals, execution, storage, and renewal processes.
    • Support drafting, review, and administration of commercial agreements (with guidance as required).
    • Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
    • Monitor contract obligations, expirations, and renewals.
  • Regulatory Administration:
    • Support corporate registrations and extra-provincial licensing requirements.
    • Coordinate regulatory filings and renewals.
    • Maintain regulatory records and compliance calendars.
  • Corporate Governance Administration:
    • Maintain corporate records and minute books.
    • Coordinate governance documentation, resolutions, and annual maintenance activities.
    • Support governance platforms and recordkeeping systems.
  • Enterprise Insurance Administration:
    • Support insurance renewal processes and coordination with brokers.
    • Coordinate collection of underwriting and renewal information.
    • Maintain insurance records and policy schedules.
    • Fleet Insurance
  • Litigation Administration & Legal Operations:
    • Maintain litigation and claims tracking systems.
    • Administer enterprise litigation hold processes.
    • Coordinate outside counsel invoices, settlement payments, matter tracking and financial resolution as required.
    • Support development and maintenance of legal operations reporting and dashboards.
    • Support implementation and administration of legal technology platforms.
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks, with sound judgment and appropriate escalation.
  • Providing responsive, business-oriented legal support to internal stakeholders.

What experience do you have?

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract management systems and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting corporate registrations, licensing, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to maintain corporate records and minute books, and to support corporate governance activities.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry (e.g., financial services) is considered an asset.
  • Paralegal designation or equivalent law clerk/legal experience preferred.
  • Post-secondary education (college or university) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in project coordination and/or project management.

We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.
