St. Dominic Hospital:
This 571-bed tertiary care hospital has 4,000 team members and a medical staff of nearly 500 physicians joining together to treat every human life as a sacred gift from God and to care for all human aspects - body, mind, and spirit. St. Dominic Health Services is a part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.
Job Details:
The duties involving the Hospitalist Medical Director include but are not limited to the following:
  • Participate in all meetings required by Relias to satisfy its obligations of contract with and improve operations of the facility. This includes monthly scorecards, medical staff meetings, patient and safety and quality improvement meetings, and Relias team meetings required by Relias.
  • Be available for and communicate with Facility and Relias administration and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in development of plans for an implementation of quality improvement and risk management with the Inpatient Services Department. Assist with team focusing on process improvements within the Inpatient Services Department. Lead compliance efforts with respect to Relias' Fraud and Abuse and HIPAA compliance plans. Assist in performing periodic chart audits to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist with Medical Direction of the Inpatient Services Department. Provide oversite of its outcomes and collaborate efforts with St. Dominic Hospital. Maintaining and improve morale within the department. Implement Relias' culture and values within the program. Perform other duties as Relias may assign from time to time. And work with respect with other departments in the Facility.
