Job description

Under supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist, the speech-language paraprofessional assists in the screening and provision of services for students with speech-language impairments.
SLPAs must complete an approved training program and be licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); no Professional Educator License is required at this time.
To be determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement--no less than $39,305 for two-year program and $40,771 for bachelors.. $3,000 sign-on bonus for 3 years of promised services. 
The position will also be available for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.  If the applicant decides to continue study towards becoming a speech-language pathologist, tuition reimbursement is available.
