Opportunity Overview
Software development tasks consist of writing and maintaining software that presents a programmatic interface to the low-level hardware of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). The software that is developed will interface to hardware directly and through firmware. It will also provide a more generalized interface up to user-level software.
  • Lead the development and implementation of software projects
  • Work closely with other departments to define software requirements and align development efforts with business goals.
  • Develop Software Drivers and assist with release cycles.
  • Debug Software Drivers modules through the software toolset, working closely with hardware and firmware engineers.
  • Develop and maintain internal software tools to assist the development and debugging process.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools to measure and assure the quality of the delivered software.

  • 8+ years' experience
  • Proficient in C/C++ and C#
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps, MS 365, and Visual Studio
  • Familiar with the entire software development cycle from requirements definition to test
  • Proficient with hardware-facing software
  • Excellent written, verbal and group communication skills.
  • Experience with Source Control Management (Azure / Git)
  • Product development experience working with cross-functional engineering teams (software, mechanical, electrical, systems)
  • Experience managing product requirements (development of, communication of, and verifying against)
  • Software development task definition, effort estimates, and schedules
  • Software development status tracking and reporting
  • Define and oversee development team's standards and processes
  • Experience managing a team of staff and contract software engineers
  • Experience managing engineering service providers (outsourced engineering), including Statement of Work (SOW) definition, scope, schedule, and status tracking
  • Familiar with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and related software
  • Familiar with thermal automated test

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $129,600 - $207,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
