IDEALFORCE have a Contract position available immediately for a Smalltalk, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server Developer to join our customer in Phoenix, AZ. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

Principles and practices of Smalltalk development project implementation, management and evaluation;
Configuring Sybase Database server necessary for the implementation and use by the LCS (Smalltalk via ODBC);
-Working knowledge of Smalltalk, ODBC, Sybase, and Microsoft SQL Server. 
-3+ Year(s) of Experience with IBM Visual Age for Smalltalk Enterprise version 5.0 is required (preferred in same candidate).
-3+ Year(s) of Experience with Sybase Adapter Server Enterprise 12.5 platform is required (preferred in same candidate. 
-3+ Year(s) of Experience with Microsoft SQL Server platform is required (preferred in same candidate. 
-Fundamentals of application and process testing, including: traditional testing (e.g., unit, white box, integration, system and regression testing) and object-oriented testing (e.g., class, scenario, Test Case, Test Case model, component, systems and regression testing);
-Principles and practices of software release upgrades and data management systems, including testing and implementing upgrades.

Qualifications


Analyze business needs appropriate to Smalltalk applications, reach practical and logical conclusions and put effective solutions and resources into practice;+
-Coordinate and manage testing related activities;
-Recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, and apply corrective action as necessary;
-Provide technical support to DLLC stakeholders, users, and team members;
-Effectively communicate orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences;
-Design layout and develop code for Smalltalk;
-Plan and manage a Smalltalk LCS development program which has department-wide impact;
