Job description

Job Title
Machine Operator/Assembler (Contract-to-Hire)
Pay & Benefits
$18.75/hr starting pay, with overtime available on Fridays, but currently working Monday through Thursday.. Contract-to-hire with clear pay growth: once hired in, you'll receive a $1/hr raise, then $0.50 raises quarterly. benefits include medical/dental/vision (after 30 days), 401(k) + profit sharing (after 6 months), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and vacation time. On-site fitness center.
Hours & Location
North Ridgeville, OH • Monday-Thursday 5:50am-4:20pm • OT Fridays as needed
Breaks: 30-minute lunch + (2) 10-minute breaks
Job Responsibilities
Operating a press machine
Assemble ignitor components (gaskets, back plates, screws, springs) using small hand tools
Work independently at times while following clear instruction sheets
Pack pumps and motors into boxes, build cartons, and apply labels for shipment
Monitor quality and keep pace with daily production goals (up to 500+ units/day once fully trained)
Opportunity to cross-train into sub-assembly and product testing as you grow
Required Qualifications
Dependable attendance and punctuality in a manufacturing/production setting
Comfortable standing/walking for the full shift in a repetitive, fast-paced environment
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Able to read and understand English work instructions
Assembly or general labor experience is a plus (training provided)
Work Environment
Busy, well-run manufacturing facility producing residential and commercial heating/energy equipment. You'll rotate between small-team assembly and independent packing work with straightforward instructions and hands-on training.
