Contract Security Officer - Part Time Supervisor ($38.61 - $40.61/hr) WEEKENDS ONLY

This is a assigned weekend position for two days(Fri & sat or Sat & Sun or Sun & Mon).

The Contract Security Officer Supervisor position requires the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals, including members of the general public, Department of Defense personnel, and all ranks of military, civilians, and visitors.

  • The duties and responsibilities are as followed, but not limited to:
    • Security of building(s)
    • Identification of all visitors and guests
    • Protection of physical assets
    • Anti-terrorism and force protection
    • Maintaining logs via written or electronic
    • Maintaining and carrying a firearm
    • Adhere and uphold SOP Standards.

This position is under the direct supervision of the site Captain.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must Be 21 years of age
  • Must be high school/GED graduate
  • Three to five years supervisor experience
  • Must posses a clearance issued by U.S. Department of Defense

Additional you must have one of the following:

  • Three years security experience OR
  • Three years of military service (active duty or reserve) with and honorable discharge OR
  • An Associates Degree or at least 60 semester hours of college coursework in any field of study OR
  • Successful completion of Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course.
  • Armed DCJS License Required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • The applicant is required to submit to pre-employment medical exam and drug screening.
  • The applicant must be able to pass an NCIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check.
  • The applicant must be able to attend and complete all required training prior to assignment.
  • The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Physical Agility Test.
  • The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Firearms Qualification.
