TheTransportation Ops Supervisorwill oversee all aspects of transportation operationsin support of a critical government contract.The Transportation Ops Supervisorwill ensure quality assurance, compliance, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will drive efficient scheduling, planning, and administration of a high-volume workload whilemaintainingthe readiness and mission effectiveness of the client's transportation assetsand schedules.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all operatorspossessand maintain current, valid qualifications, certifications, and licenses essential for their respective duties and for operating.

  • Serve as the primary lead for controlling and scheduling all transportation operations, maintenance activities, and associated work, ensuring alignment with project scope, complexity, and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

  • Direct and oversee comprehensive scheduling, planning, and administration of a high-volume, complex body of transportation-related work.

  • Monitor driver performance and adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures.

  • Developefficient schedules and routes for vehicle deployment based on mission requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in Transportation/Fleet.

  • A combination ofpreviousexperience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in fleet management,logistics, or vehicle maintenance.

  • Leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively.

Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance. The physical demands of this position may bereasonably accommodatedfor individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50pounds.

  • May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also berequired.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
