A typical workweek for a Contract RV Transport Driver often involves planning routes, inspecting assigned RV units for damage, securing loads, and delivering vehicles to designated locations across long distances. You may work independently most of the time but will frequently communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and delivery updates. Hours can vary depending on contracts, and you may spend several days on the road at a time. Flexibility and self-direction are important, as the job often requires adapting to changing delivery assignments and weather conditions.

Excellent time management, customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities distinguish top performers in this role. These skills are critical for delivering RVs efficiently and safely while ensuring positive client interactions and regulatory compliance.
