Job Brief
The Transportation Team Member will be responsible for hauling grain out of the location to the assigned end user. They will also be tasked with hauling grain off the farm when assigned.
Leadership:
  1. Promote an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the mission and core values of Nexus.
  2. Model behaviors that support Nexus mission and core values to be a trusted advisor to our customers and members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of products in an assigned territory.
  2. Observe safety guidelines in accordance with Company policy, federal & state safety rules.
  3. Follow designated delivery routes to minimize and reduce miles driven.
  4. Perform daily safety checks on all vehicles and equipment and properly document/report any safety hazards immediately.
  5. Always utilize good customer service skills, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
  6. Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
  7. Keeps vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company image.
  8. Assist with other locations, as needed.
  9. Must be a team player.
  10. Work overtime as required.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma
  • Three years or more experience
  • Able to work unpredictable schedule.
  • Has or willing to obtain Class A CDL
