Sharing Light Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a Remote Therapy Specialist. This full-time position allows for the provision of impactful virtual therapy sessions focused on enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients. This remote role offers flexibility and empowers therapists to work from their chosen environment while maintaining a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our therapists utilize advanced virtual therapy platforms equipped with secure messaging and video conferencing tools, ensuring a high-quality therapeutic experience. • Conduct engaging and empathetic video-based therapy sessions, delivering expert care to clients seeking mental health support.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and set achievable therapeutic goals, assisting them in their journey towards personal development.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, integrating a structured, solution-oriented approach tailored to individual client needs.
• Provide emotional support and guidance, helping clients develop effective coping strategies for managing life’s challenges and stressors.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards, ensuring continuity of care.
• Stay updated on best practices in the field of mental health to enhance treatment methodologies and improve client outcomes.

Our client base consists of diverse individuals from various backgrounds, facing a wide range of mental health challenges. As a therapist, you will work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, among other issues. The importance of cultural competence and sensitivity in providing individualized treatment is emphasized, ensuring all clients feel understood and respected.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A valid California state license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Proficiency with virtual therapy tools and platforms, ensuring a seamless teletherapy experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with clients in a remote setting.

• At least 2 years of professional experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in a remote or outpatient setting.
• Experience working with telehealth systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
