Job description

We are seeking a Ontologist to design, develop, and maintain ontology frameworks and knowledge graphs that support data integration, knowledge management, and semantic data modeling initiatives. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure ontologies align with business objectives, enhance data interoperability, and enable effective information retrieval across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Ontologies: Build and refine ontologies and knowledge graphs using established ontology frameworks to support data organization, search, and knowledge representation needs.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with project managers, data analysts, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, validate ontology structures, and capture domain knowledge.
  • Leverage Semantic Technologies: Utilize semantic web standards and technologies, including OWL, RDF, and related tools, to create and maintain scalable ontology solutions.
  • Support Data Integration: Integrate ontologies with existing systems and databases, developing mappings between ontology models and legacy data structures to improve interoperability.
  • Documentation and Enablement: Create comprehensive documentation for ontology models, frameworks, and processes, and provide training to internal teams on ontology usage and best practices.
  • Project Delivery: Manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
