Direct Counsel is partnering with a well-regarded Los Angeles-based firm seeking a Contract Workersโ€™ Compensation Defense Attorney to support their active workersโ€™ comp team. The firm is open to reviewing candidates with any level of experience in Workers Compensation Defense or Insurance Coverage, and the position offers remote flexibility.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with workers' compensation defense (open to a range of backgrounds)

  • Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills

  • Familiarity with insurance coverage or WC carrier-side work

  • Comfortable working on matters involving a national carrier providing excess reimbursement policies to qualified self-insureds
