  • Help engineering teams navigate the nuances and complexities of U.S. healthcare technology.
  • Bring practical understanding of healthcare data privacy into how projects and systems are structured.
  • Guide engineering execution involving healthcare interoperability requirements.
  • Work effectively with technical teams while maintaining primary accountability for people leadership and delivery.
  • Drive execution for healthcare initiatives connected to external opportunities.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications

  • Strong people-management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience structuring and managing healthcare technology projects.
  • Strong healthcare project execution experience.
  • Experience with FHIR and healthcare-system interoperability.
  • Understanding of healthcare data privacy considerations and how they influence technology projects.
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to effectively lead engineering teams and participate in technical discussions.
  • Experience operating within U.S.-centric healthcare environments.
  • Ability to lead distributed engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or closely related healthcare technology environments.
  • Experience managing engineering organizations distributed across multiple locations.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for customer- or opportunity-driven healthcare projects.
  • Experience helping engineering teams translate healthcare-domain requirements into effective project execution.
AI & Modern Engineering Expectations
  • Use AI-assisted tools appropriately to improve management and engineering workflows where they create meaningful efficiency.
  • Understand how AI and automation are influencing modern product and engineering organizations.
  • Apply sound judgment when evaluating AI-assisted approaches in environments involving sensitive healthcare data and privacy considerations.
  • Encourage responsible adoption of modern engineering practices while keeping healthcare-domain requirements and execution outcomes at the center of decision-making.
Additional Qualities
  • Strong people leadership and team-management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare domain.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for execution.
  • Ability to provide structure and clarity across complex projects.
