Marketing Analyst

W2 Contract 3-6+ Months

Onsite, Tustin, CA

$36-44/hr + Benefits

Weโ€™re looking for a data-driven Marketing Analyst to help us better understand and optimize our marketing performance across digital channels. In this role, youโ€™ll turn complex data into clear insights that directly influence how we acquire, engage, and retain customers.

Youโ€™ll partner closely with teams across marketing, product, sales, and finance to improve campaign effectiveness, guide investment decisions, and support overall business growth. This is a highly visible role where your insights will help shape strategy at both the campaign and executive level.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Own Marketing Performance Insights

  • Analyze performance across key digital channels including paid media (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok), DTC (Shopify), email, affiliate, and influencer marketing
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization across the customer journey

Build Dashboards & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools likeย Looker, Tableau, or Looker Studio
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting on key metrics such asย ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and customer retention
  • Translate data into insights that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand

Manage & Optimize Data Infrastructure

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources usingย SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, validation, and cleanup
  • Partner with teams to improve tracking, attribution, and data quality

Drive Strategy & Decision-Making

  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign performance, customer engagement, and budget allocation
  • Support and analyze A/B tests to identify the most effective marketing strategies
  • Use data to forecast trends and inform future growth initiatives

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with marketing channel owners, leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Help teams interpret performance data and make informed decisions
  • Support implementation of new tools, integrations, and automation workflows

  • Actionable insights that improve marketing performance and ROI

What Weโ€™re Looking For

Core Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience inย marketing analytics, marketing operations, or similar roles
  • Strong proficiency inย SQLย and experience working with large datasets (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Experience building dashboards and reports usingย BI toolsย (Looker, Tableau, Looker Studio)
  • Solid understanding ofย digital marketing metrics and performance analysisย (ROAS, CAC, attribution, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience withย web analytics tools (GA4 or similar)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience inย eCommerce or DTC environments (Shopify preferred)
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and marketing tools (Klaviyo, GTM, etc.)
  • Exposure toย multi-touch attributionย and advanced analytics
  • Experience supportingย A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency inย Python or Rย for advanced analytics or automation
  • Experience at aย high-growth DTC or consumer brand
  • Analytics certifications or advanced training
