Job description

This person will be part of a maintenance/reliability team at this refinery and will be responsible for a variety of things including day-to-day maintenance/reliability, helping to develop and improve maintenance/reliability strategy as well as working with on-site techs and contractors. This team covers both fixed and rotating equipment.

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in refining, petrochemical, terminal, or another heavy industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, fixed equipment, piping systems, and refinery maintenance practices
  • Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, contract maintenance resources, and CMMS systems
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, Process Safety Management, lockout/tagout, and safe-work permitting
