About the PositionAlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
- BLS certification
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
- Nuclear Medicine certification: CNMT or ARRT (N)
- Current registration by the ARRT in radiography and/or nuclear medicine, or graduation from a CNMT program with CNMT certification
- 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty
- Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and physics as it pertains to nuclear medicine patient care
- Experience using imaging equipment, office equipment, related materials essential to patient care and imaging exams, and Synapse
Assignment Details
- Monday through Thursday schedule
- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekends required
- Holiday coverage as required
