Job description

We’re partnering with a well-established organization undergoing a technology modernization initiative and are seeking a Python Production Engineer to help take an existing application from prototype to production.
This is a 6–12-week contract focused on production readiness—not on rebuilding the application.
What You’ll Do
  • Productionize an existing Python web app (Flask/FastAPI)
  • Build CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Implement security, authentication, and secrets management
  • Set up monitoring and logging (Azure Monitor / App Insights)
  • Introduce testing (pytest) and improve reliability
  • Collaborate with the internal IT team for knowledge transfer
