Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Data Engineer (PL/SQL).
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain data models (dimensional and normalized) to support analytics and reporting
* Build and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions across Oracle and Snowflake platforms
* Ensure efficient ingestion, transformation, and integration of structured and unstructured data
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Informatica and Python
* Support and enhance Oracle Analytics Server reporting environments
* Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and usability
* Optimize data structures for reporting performance
* Develop and maintain solutions in Snowflake cloud data warehouse
* Implement best practices for cloud data architecture, cost optimization, and performance
* Work with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB) for semi-structured and unstructured data use cases
* Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using Python and SQL
* Automate data workflows, monitoring, and alerting
* Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines and database deployments
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across platforms
* Implement data validation, cleansing, and lineage tracking
* Adhere to corporate data governance and compliance standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of experience in data engineering and database administration
Strong expertise in:
* Oracle Database (Application DBA experience required)
* Informatica (ETL development)
* Data Warehousing concepts and architecture
Hands-on experience with:
* Snowflake
* Oracle Analytics Server (reporting and integration)
* Python
* SQL (advanced querying and performance tuning)
* NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, etc.)
* Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
* Experience supporting high-volume transactional systems (OLTP)
* Exposure to data governance and security frameworks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
